New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed for a three-nation tour to Cyprus, Canada, and Croatia, scheduled from June 15 to 19. The tour aims to strengthen bilateral ties, focusing on trade, investment, and security cooperation. PM Modi said in his post on X, "Over the next few days, will be visiting Cyprus, Canada and Croatia to attend various programmes, including bilateral meetings and multilateral engagements."

During his visit to Cyprus on June 15-16, Prime Minister Modi will hold talks with President Nikos Christodoulides and address business leaders in Limassol. This visit marks the first trip by an Indian Prime Minister to Cyprus in over two decades, reaffirming the shared commitment to deepen bilateral ties and strengthen India's engagement with the Mediterranean region and the European Union.

From Cyprus, PM Modi will travel to Kananaskis, Canada, to participate in the G7 Summit on June 16-17. "I will be attending the G7 Summit in Canada, which will give a great platform to exchange perspectives on various global issues and elaborate on the priorities of the Global South," PM said in his post on X.

In the final leg of his tour, PM Modi will undertake an official visit to Croatia on June 18, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country. He will hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and meet President Zoran Milanovic, opening new avenues for cooperation and underscoring India's commitment to further strengthening its engagement with partners in the European Union.
