New Delhi: Delhi's Patiala House Court has remanded lady don Annu Dhankar, an associate of gangster Himanshu Bhau, in seven days of judicial custody.
Annu was arrested in connection with the murder of Aman Joon, which occurred at a Burger King restaurant in Rajouri Garden. She was apprehended by the Delhi Police special cell on Friday at the Indo-Nepal border in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, while attempting to flee to Nepal.
Judicial Magistrate Padma Ladol granted the custody after reviewing the application for judicial remand. Annu was brought by the special cell before the court where she was trialed.
The South West District Police are investigating Aman Joon's murder at the Rajouri Garden location.
Annu appeared in court with her face covered and under heavy police security. The investigating officer noted that the deceased, Aman Joon, had been lured to the restaurant where he was later shot dead.
Annu is scheduled to be presented before the court again after her judicial custody expires on November 2.
