Sharad Pawar was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital hours after being discharged from Pune's Ruby Hall Clinic, where he had received treatment for cough and chest pain.

Mumbai: A discharge from hospital did not bring an immediate end to Sharad Pawar's medical ordeal.
The veteran Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday, November 4, within hours of being discharged from Pune's Ruby Hall Clinic, where he had been under medical observation for two days.
The fresh hospitalisation of the 85-year-old leader was confirmed by his daughter and Baramati MP Supriya Sule. However, the precise reason for his admission to the Mumbai hospital has not yet been officially disclosed.
Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on November 2 after experiencing a cough and pleuritic chest pain.
After medical observation and treatment, doctors discharged him on Wednesday, saying his condition was stable and he was doing well.
His return to Mumbai, however, has drawn attention, particularly given the short interval between his discharge in Pune and his subsequent admission in the city.
Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spoken to Pawar and advised him to take complete rest. The interaction came amid concerns over the veteran politician's health following his hospitalisation in Pune.
While the circumstances surrounding his latest admission remain unclear, Pawar's medical condition at the time of his discharge from Ruby Hall Clinic had been described as stable. An updated medical assessment following his admission to Breach Candy Hospital is awaited.
