Delhi Airport has issued a fresh advisory warning passengers of possible continued delays in IndiGo flights, even as the airline processes ₹610 crore in refunds and works to restore normal operations.

Delhi Airport on Monday issued an advisory warning that IndiGo flights may continue to face delays, urging passengers to check their flight status before travelling to the airport.
In an update posted on X, the airport said its teams were working with all stakeholders to minimise disruptions and provide assistance, including medical support, through on-ground information desks.
It also reminded travellers that multiple transport options—metro, buses, and cabs—remain available for airport access.
The advisory comes as IndiGo continues recovery efforts following large-scale cancellations. According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, IndiGo has already processed ₹610 crore in refunds, complying with the government’s directive to complete all pending refunds by 8 pm on Sunday.
The ministry also clarified that no rescheduling fees may be charged for flights affected by cancellations or severe delays.
To protect travellers from fare spikes triggered by the disruptions, the government has imposed an immediate cap on airfares, leading to fare moderation across impacted routes. Airlines have been instructed to comply strictly with the revised structure.
IndiGo was also directed to trace and deliver separated baggage within 48 hours, with continuous communication to passengers. The airline has so far delivered 3,000 pieces of baggage nationwide.
