Mangaluru: A shocking case has emerged from Mangaluru, where a 40-year-old man, identified as Abhishek Singh from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, was found dead in a private lodge on Monday. Before his death, Singh recorded a video message, alleging that CISF Assistant Commandant Monica Sihag was responsible for his distress.

According to the preliminary investigation, Singh, who worked for a private company in Chennai, had traveled to Mangaluru to attend an exhibition. In the video, which surfaced on social media, he accused Monica Sihag of hiding her marital status while engaging in a relationship with him. He further alleged that she mentally and physically exploited him, stole gold worth ₹8 lakh, and had multiple affairs.

Singh’s death has led to a full-fledged police investigation, with authorities attempting to verify his claims and gather evidence. A case has been registered, and law enforcement is examining digital records, call logs, and financial transactions to establish the facts. The alleged involvement of a high-ranking CISF officer in a fraud and emotional manipulation case has raised concerns, and authorities are expected to summon those connected to the matter for questioning.

Singh’s allegations and subsequent death have triggered discussions about emotional exploitation, financial fraud in relationships, and mental health concerns. The CISF has yet to release an official statement on the matter. Meanwhile, police continue to probe the allegations and circumstances leading to Singh’s death. Further developments are expected as the investigation unfolds.
