Vadodara Police crush illegal liquor worth ₹4 crore under Gujarat prohibition drive
Vadodara Police destroyed illegal liquor worth ₹4 crore using bulldozers and road rollers in a major crackdown under Gujarat prohibition law.
In a major enforcement action under Gujarat’s prohibition law, Vadodara City Police carried out a large-scale destruction drive at Koyali check post, crushing illegal liquor and beer worth more than ₹4 crore. The operation was conducted using road rollers and bulldozers as officials intensified efforts against liquor smuggling and illegal alcohol distribution.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. J M Chavda said the campaign was launched under the Swachh Gujarat Abhiyan in the Koyali area under Jawahar Nagar Police Station limits. Senior officials, including four ACPs, 14 police inspectors, representatives from the Collector’s office, and the Prohibition and Excise Department, supervised the operation.
