US Embassy India marks America's 250th Independence Day with greetings from Marco Rubio, A.R. Rahman, Sunita Williams, Madhavan and other Indian icons.
The US Embassy in India has celebrated the United States' 250th Independence Day with a special video featuring greetings from some of India's most prominent personalities. The video opens with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who describes India as the world's largest democracy and the United States as the world's oldest, expressing hope for an even stronger partnership.
The tribute includes messages from Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra, former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi, astronaut Sunita Williams, actor R. Madhavan, business leader Isha Ambani, former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, musician A.R. Rahman, chess legend Viswanathan Anand, entrepreneur Raj Shamani, and several others.
