Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu: Farmers in Thanjavur district have appealed to the district administration for urgent relief after Cyclone Ditwah caused extensive damage to standing crops.

The cyclone brought heavy rainfall across Tamil Nadu’s delta region, leaving thousands of acres of cultivated land submerged. Over the past three days, continuous downpour has severely impacted paddy fields and other seasonal crops, raising concerns about huge financial losses for cultivators.
