Hepatitis A, which is commonly known as jaundice, is an inflammation of the liver that can cause mild to severe illness.
The virus is transmitted through ingestion of contaminated food and water or direct contact with an infected person. Even though the recovery rates are high, it can become fatal in some cases. The risk of hepatitis A infection can be tackled in many ways which includes taking appropriate vaccine to prevent the virus.
