After 200 days on a bicycle, Bengal pilgrim reaches Pahalgam for Amarnath Yatra
A West Bengal cyclist reaches Amarnath Yatra after 200+ days on the road, aiming to visit all 51 Shakti Peeths and 12 Jyotirlingas.
For Sudarshan Biswas, every kilometre is an act of devotion. After spending more than 200 days cycling across India to visit the 51 Shakti Peeths and 12 Jyotirlingas, the West Bengal pilgrim Biswas has now reached Pahalgam to take part in the Amarnath Yatra.
Biswas says his pilgrimage extends beyond India and includes sacred sites in Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and China. Carrying only the essentials, he spends each night in a tent while continuing his journey on two wheels.

He also praised the security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the Army's presence made his travel safe and comfortable. According to Biswas, he faced no major difficulties while travelling through the region.
