Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are set to return to the big screen together with ‘Ranabaali’, their first film together after their wedding. The upcoming pan-India film will release worldwide on October 16, coinciding with the Vijayadashami celebrations.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, ‘Ranabaali’ is set against the backdrop of the 19th century and is based on real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878 during the British colonial era.

The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, with Arnold Vosloo and others also part of the cast. It is presented by T-Series and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.

The announcement of the release date was accompanied by a new poster featuring Vijay Deverakonda in an intense look, holding a sword. ‘Ranabaali’ will now arrive in theatres during the Vijayadashami festive period on October 16.

Ajay-Atul have composed the music for the film, while Nirav Shah and Jishnu Bhattacharjee serve as the cinematographers. The technical team also includes editor Karthika Srinivas R, production designer Shivam Rao Nagsan, costume designer Archana Rao and VFX supervisor Sunil Raju Chinta.

The action sequences have been choreographed by Yannick Ben, Andy Long Nguyen and Robin Subbu, with Raghunath Kemishetti serving as the sound designer.

‘Ranabaali’ marks Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s first on-screen collaboration following their wedding and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
