Rashmika Mandanna made her first public appearance following her recent hip injury at an engagement in Hyderabad, wearing a wine and bottle-green velvet Anarkali by Sureena Chowdhri. Here is a closer look at the intricate traditional ensemble

Rashmika Mandanna stepped out for a celebration in Hyderabad, marking her first public appearance following her recent hip injury. The actor attended producer Niranjan Reddy's son's engagement in a richly detailed wine and bottle-green velvet Anarkali, while Vijay Deverakonda accompanied her in an all-black bandhgala.
While the occasion brought together two very different style statements, Rashmika's outfit drew attention for its colour combination, velvet texture and intricate gold detailing. The actor wore the ensemble from designer Sureena Chowdhri's label, with styling by Gaurav Desai.

A velvet Anarkali with intricate details
Rashmika's Anarkali combined deep wine and bottle-green velvet, giving the traditional silhouette a striking colour contrast. The fitted bodice featured gold embroidery, a plunging V-neckline and half sleeves, before opening into a flowing skirt.
The hem was finished with an elaborate embroidered gold border, adding another layer of detail to the velvet ensemble. Rather than piling on multiple accessories, the outfit itself carried much of the visual detail through its embroidery, contrasting colours and textured fabric.
She paired the Anarkali with a deep-green velvet dupatta draped over one shoulder. The dupatta featured gold patti work, floral embroidery and tassel details along the edges, complementing the gold accents running through the rest of the outfit.
Diamond jewellery and a pared-back beauty look
Rashmika completed the look with a diamond choker and a matching bracelet. Her jewellery remained relatively minimal against the heavily detailed outfit.
For her beauty look, she left her hair loose with a centre parting and opted for a dewy base, defined brows, mascara and a glossy pink lip. The styling kept the focus on the Anarkali and its mix of velvet, embroidery and jewel-toned colours.
The engagement appearance also marked Rashmika's return to a public event after her recent hip injury, which she reportedly suffered while shooting for her upcoming film Mysaa.
Vijay Deverakonda keeps it classic in black
Vijay Deverakonda took a different route with his engagement look, opting for an all-black bandhgala. His tailored jacket featured ornate buttons and was paired with black trousers, dress shoes and a matching pocket square.
With his hair swept back and his signature handlebar moustache completing the look, Vijay kept his outfit monochromatic while Rashmika brought colour and texture to the occasion in velvet.
Together, the two arrived for the Hyderabad engagement holding hands, with Rashmika's appearance marking her first public outing since her injury. For the occasion, her wine-and-bottle-green Anarkali brought together traditional craftsmanship, velvet textures and gold embroidery in a look designed around the details.
