Dhanashree Verma and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal may soon share the screen again, not as a couple, but as contestants. Reports suggest that the former partners, who divorced in March 2025, have been approached to participate in the upcoming reality show “The 50.” If both agree, it will mark their first on-camera reunion since their separation.

According to buzz, the makers have reached out separately to Dhanashree and Chahal, and discussions are reportedly underway. However, there is no confirmation yet on whether either of them has officially signed the project.

“The 50” will stream on JioHotstar and air on Colors TV. Unlike conventional reality shows, the format features 50 contestants living together in a lavish mansion with almost no fixed rules, designed to spark drama, unpredictability, and unscripted dynamics. The contestant pool is expected to include celebrities, influencers, and former Bigg Boss participants.

The show is billed as the Indian adaptation of the French series Les Cinquante, which also inspired a US version titled Los 50 in 2023. The premiere date for the Indian edition has not yet been announced.

Personal chapter of Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal

Chahal and Dhanashree married in 2020 and legally parted ways in 2025. After the separation, Dhanashree opened up about their journey — from engagement to divorce — on her show “Rise and Fall,” stating that she had given her best to the relationship but eventually chose to move on, while still wishing well for her former husband.

If both come on board for “The 50,” their appearance will be closely watched — not for romance, but for how two ex-partners share space again in a competitive reality-show environment.
