July is shaping up to be a busy month for K-drama fans, with a packed slate of new series spanning romance, mystery, action, fantasy and family drama. The month's line-up features several high-profile returns, including Nam Joo-hyuk's first drama after completing military service and the second season of Disney+'s hit action thriller ‘A Shop for Killers’. Viewers can also look forward to fresh romantic comedies, supernatural stories and suspense-filled thrillers arriving across Netflix, Disney+, JTBC, KBS2, MBC and ENA.
Here's a look at the major Korean dramas premiering in July 2026.
Love in Sync
Kim Myung-soo, better known as L from Infinite, stars alongside Kang Min-ah in this romantic comedy. Kim plays Cha Eun-hwan, a counsellor known for his extraordinary empathy, while Kang portrays Yoo Ji-an, a popular singer attempting to establish herself as an actress despite criticism over her emotionally restrained performances. The series premieres on U+ Mobile TV and Disney+ on July 4.
The Husband
Namkoong Min headlines this mystery thriller as Kang Tae-ju, a man whose already crumbling marriage takes a darker turn when his wife, Ko Se-yun (Lee Seol), is abducted. As he searches for her, Tae-ju becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance and finds himself on the run. At the same time, Se-yun struggles to escape captivity while crossing paths with a mysterious woman whose intentions remain unclear. The drama arrives on KBS2 and Disney+ on July 4.
Family Register
Park Se-young leads this daily family drama as Na Ji-ni, an aspiring animator burdened by the circumstances of her birth. Raised as the daughter of a renowned cellist and her married partner, Ji-ni has spent years dealing with social prejudice. The story explores the strained relationship between mother and daughter as long-hidden emotional wounds resurface. ‘Family Register’ debuts on MBC on July 6.
The Apartment Job
Ji Sung returns to television as Park Hae-gang, a former gangster pursuing an unlikely ambition, becoming chairman of his apartment complex's residents' association. His original goal is to recover hidden money, but his campaign unexpectedly uncovers widespread corruption, transforming him into an unlikely local hero. Ha Yoon-kyung co-stars as an aspiring lawyer who becomes involved in his mission. The series premieres on JTBC on July 11.
Dream to You
Hwang In-youp and Lee Hye-ri lead this romantic comedy centred on two people entering their thirties from very different perspectives. Lee plays former reporter Joo Yi-jae, whose optimism has faded after years of personal setbacks, while Hwang stars as Su-bin, an aspiring filmmaker who chose passion over his family's expectations. The ENA drama begins on July 13.
The East Palace
Marking Nam Joo-hyuk's first project after military service, ‘The East Palace’ blends historical drama with fantasy. Nam portrays Gu-cheon, a man capable of travelling between the human world and the realm of spirits. Roh Yoon-seo plays Court Lady Saeng-gang, who possesses the ability to hear ghosts. Together, they are tasked by the king with lifting a mysterious curse believed to have engulfed the royal palace. The Netflix original premieres on July 17.
Spooky in Love
Park Eun-bin returns with another new project shortly after appearing in ‘The Wonderfools’. In this horror-romantic comedy inspired by the 2011 film ‘Spellbound’, she stars as Cheon Yeo-ri, a wealthy hotel heiress who can see ghosts. She joins forces with prosecutor Ma Gang-uk, played by Yang Se-jong, as the pair become entangled in supernatural mysteries. The series arrives on tvN on July 18.
A Shop for Killers (Season 2)
Disney+'s action thriller returns for a second season with Lee Dong-wook and Kim Hye-jun reprising their roles. The new instalment resumes after Jin-man's unexpected return, with niece Ji-an now helping to run the secretive weapons business that supplies elite mercenaries. Together, they must confront dangerous enemies closing in on them. Season two premieres on Disney+ on July 22.
Love on the Menu
EXID member and actress Ahn Hee-yeon stars opposite Ha Seok-jin in this neighbourhood-set romance. Ahn plays the energetic owner of a popular side-dish shop, while Ha portrays the chef of a nearby Italian restaurant who keeps his privileged upbringing hidden from those around him. The weekend drama begins airing on KBS2 on July 25.
A Bona Fide Killer
Closing out the month is ‘A Bona Fide Killer’, adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name. Gong Hyo-jin stars as Yoo Bo-na, an office worker leading a double life as the legendary assassin known as Kingfisher. After returning from maternity leave, she attempts to balance ordinary family life while concealing her secret identity from her husband, investigative journalist Kwon Tae-seong, who has unknowingly spent years trying to track down the elusive killer. The series premieres on MBC on July 31.
