Trisha Krishnan is reportedly considering a break from acting once she completes her existing projects

Actress Trisha Krishnan may be considering a temporary break from acting after wrapping up the films she has already committed to, according to reports citing sources close to the actor.
Trisha has been taking on fewer films in recent years, and the latest reports suggest that she could step away from the screen for a while once her existing commitments are completed. There has been no official announcement from Trisha about taking a break from acting so far.

Alongside the speculation about her acting career, reports also suggest that Trisha could be exploring film production.
The actor has not publicly confirmed plans to launch a production venture. If the reports turn out to be true, it could mark a new phase in her long-running career in the Tamil film industry.
Trisha has also previously been at the centre of rumours about a possible entry into politics. Posters calling for her to enter politics were reportedly put up in Madurai recently, adding to the speculation around what she may do next.
However, there is currently no confirmation that Trisha is planning to join politics.

On the work front, Trisha was recently seen in Suriya's ‘Karuppu’, which released this year. She also has ‘Garjanai’ and the long-delayed ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’ lined up. The latter, starring Trisha alongside Arvind Swamy, has been in the works for several years and is now reportedly nearing release.
In Telugu cinema, Trisha is set to appear in ‘Vishwambhara’, starring Chiranjeevi.
Trisha is also part of ‘Ram’, Jeethu Joseph's long-awaited Malayalam action thriller starring Mohanlal.
The actor plays Dr Vineetha in the film, which follows Mohanlal's character, Ram Mohan, in a story involving India's intelligence agencies and a former operative. Indrajith Sukumaran is also part of the cast. The film has faced a long production journey after shooting began in 2020, with schedules planned across several locations. In a recent interview, Jeethu Joseph said most of the film has already been completed, although some portions involving Mohanlal and the female lead are still pending.

Interestingly, rumours about Trisha stepping away from films have surfaced before. In April this year, she responded to similar reports with a sarcastic Instagram post after claims circulated that she had quit acting. She joked about having supposedly married a businessman and being a mother to quadruplets, ending with, “Did we cover today's fiction quota?”
