The Chainsmokers are set to return to India in December 2026 with concerts in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The Grammy-winning duo behind hits like Closer, Don't Let Me Down and Something Just Like This will also headline Sunburn Mumbai 2026.

Fans of The Chainsmokers can mark their calendars as the globally acclaimed electronic music duo is set to return to India for a three-city tour in December 2026, bringing some of their biggest hits back to Indian stages after a gap of three years.
The Grammy-winning pair, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, will kick off the India leg in Mumbai on December 18 before heading to Delhi on December 19 and Bengaluru on December 20.
A major highlight of the tour will be the Mumbai concert, where The Chainsmokers will headline the Mumbai edition of Sunburn Festival 2026. The event will also mark Sunburn's debut at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, adding a new chapter to one of India's largest electronic dance music festivals.
Known for global chart-toppers such as "Closer", "Don't Let Me Down", "Something Just Like This" and "Paris", The Chainsmokers have built a massive fan base across India through a catalogue that blends electronic dance music with mainstream pop. Their return is likely to attract thousands of fans eager to experience the duo's signature festival-style performances.
The duo last performed in India in 2023 and has continued to expand its musical catalogue since then. In 2024, they released the EP No Hard Feelings, followed by Breathe in 2025. Earlier this year, they collaborated with singer-songwriter Oaks, popularly known as Winona Oak, on the EP Love is Kind.
Commenting on the announcement, Sunburn CEO Karan Singh said The Chainsmokers have been closely associated with defining moments in youth culture over the past decade. According to Singh, the duo's music resonates strongly with both millennials and Gen Z audiences, making their return one of the most anticipated live music events of the year.
Formed in 2012, The Chainsmokers have emerged as one of the most commercially successful electronic acts in the world. Their music catalogue has sold more than 118 million records globally and includes three Diamond-certified singles, including "Closer", "Something Just Like This" and the Grammy-winning "Don't Let Me Down".
Beyond music, Taggart and Pall have also established themselves in the technology sector through Mantis Venture Capital, an early-stage investment firm they co-founded in 2020.
With three back-to-back performances scheduled across major Indian cities, The Chainsmokers' India tour is expected to be among the biggest electronic music events on the country's live entertainment calendar in 2026.
