The actress revealed the condition to her fans through an emotional Instagram post, explaining that her health condition affects her daily life. Myositis has made it difficult for her to maintain her usual fitness levels, which has led to noticeable changes in her appearance.

What is Myositis?

Myositis is a rare autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness and inflammation throughout the body. It affects muscles in key areas such as the neck, shoulders, thighs, and back, making it difficult for sufferers to perform everyday tasks. Common symptoms include chronic pain, fatigue, difficulty sitting or standing, and an inability to hold up one’s head due to weakened neck muscles. Myositis can severely impact mobility and overall physical health, requiring ongoing medical treatment and management.
