Shakira expressed her excitement to connect with fans and support the cause, aligning with her philanthropic work.

Mumbai: Global pop icon and multiple Grammy winner Shakira is set to return to India for the first time in nearly two decades, headlining two major shows in Mumbai and Delhi this April.
The Colombian superstar will perform at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on April 10, followed by a concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on April 15. The tour marks her first performance in the country since her 2007 "Oral Fixation" tour.
The concerts are part of the third edition of the Feeding India Concert 2026, a collaboration between the non-profit Feeding India and Zomato’s "District" platform. The event aims to leverage live music to highlight national issues of hunger and malnutrition.
"Performing in India has always been special to me, and I'm excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi," Shakira said in a statement. "The Feeding India Concert is about more than music; it's about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive."
Music for a Cause
Shakira, known for global hits like "Hips Don’t Lie," "Whenever, Wherever," and the World Cup anthem "Waka Waka," has a long history of philanthropy. Her Barefoot Foundation focuses on providing education and nutrition to vulnerable children, aligning with the concert's goal of supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of "Zero Hunger" by 2030.
Organisers stated that the 2026 concert series represents the first time the initiative has expanded to multiple cities, reflecting a growing dialogue around food security in India.
