According to sources, the voice note was sent directly to Ranveer Singh’s WhatsApp account on Tuesday, raising immediate concerns for his safety. The content reportedly demanded a significant sum of money and appeared linked to the recent shooting incident at Rohit Shetty’s home.

The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has been informed about the threat and is investigating the matter. Officers are examining digital footprints to identify the origin of the voice note and determine whether it is connected to the earlier firing incident. Security personnel have been deployed around Ranveer Singh’s residence as a precautionary measure.
Despite the seriousness of the threat, no formal complaint has yet been filed by Ranveer Singh or his team. Police officials have stated that investigations will continue until the sender is identified and the threat neutralised.
