Footballer Neymar Jr was a major reference for the costume design of Thallumala movie, said its story writer Muhsin Parari.
In an interview given to '94.3 Club FM', Parari said the team had been researching the costumes for the past six years and the Brazilian player was a reference for them.
"Mashar Hamsa did the costume design of the movie. I met him the other day and we spoke about this. For the past 6 years, our Instagram chat was about costume references for Thallumala. Neymar Jr was one of our major reference," he said.
"In fact, a specific costume of Neymar Jr he wore at an event was used in an important scene in the film. It was part of the film trailer as well," said Muhsin.
The Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer ‘Thallumala’ is directed by Khalid Rahman. The film is running successfully in the theatres.
