Kochi: Former president Mohanlal arrived to cast his vote in the election of actors association ‘AMMA’. He came to vote along with producer and actor Antony Perumbavoor. Mohanlal said he hopes that the new committee, which will take charge through the election, will lead the organisation forward in a good way.

“A committee will be formed according to the opinion of the members. It will take the AMMA movement forward in the right way. No one has left the organisation. Everyone is still part of it. I believe that together we can provide the best governance,” Mohanlal told media after voting. He added that after voting and meeting AMMA members, he would take the afternoon flight to Chennai.

This year’s AMMA office-bearers election is different, said Antony Perumbavoor. “Just like in the Producers’ Association elections, here too those acceptable to everyone will be elected. Personal opinion has no relevance,” Antony added.
