Actress Navina Bole accuses filmmaker Sajid Khan of inappropriate behavior during a casting call, adding to the #MeToo allegations against him.

Mumbai: Filmmaker Sajid Khan has once again found himself at the centre of the #MeToo storm after television actress Navina Bole accused him of inappropriate behaviour. In a recent interview with Subhojit Ghosh on his YouTube channel, Bole alleged that Sajid invited her to his home during the casting process for the film Heyy Baby and asked her to remove her clothes.
Recalling the disturbing encounter, Navina, known for her role in Ishqbaaz, said, “He literally said, ‘Why don’t you just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are.’” She said the incident occurred sometime between 2004 and 2006 when she had participated in Gladrags.
Calling Sajid a “terrible man,” Navina said he had a pattern of approaching women after Gladrags. “He just really pushed the envelope when it came to disrespecting women,” she added.
She further revealed that Sajid contacted her again a year later while she was taking part in the Mrs India pageant. “He had called me again and asked me, ‘What do you do, you should come see me for a role.’ And I said this guy must be hitting on so many women that he doesn’t even remember he had already done this to me the previous year,” she said.
Sajid Khan had previously been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women in 2018 during the height of India’s #MeToo movement, including actors and a journalist. The allegations had led to his temporary suspension from the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) and his exit from films like Housefull 4.
