Fans of actor superstar Suriya are eagerly awaiting the release of his much-anticipated film Kanguva, which is set to hit theatres worldwide on November 14. The film also stars Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, and Yogi Babu alongside Suriya.

However, what has particularly caught the attention of his fans is a recent revelation by Suriya's brother, Karthi, during his appearance on Bala Krishnan’s talk show. Karthi, a renowned actor in his own right, shared some fascinating details from their childhood. He fondly recalled that, as a child, Suriya was particularly fond of the song Chiku Buku Rayile from the popular Tamil film Gentleman—a track that featured actress Gautami. According to Karthi, Suriya had a crush on Gautami, which Karthi found particularly amusing, given Suriya’s otherwise serious nature during their younger years.

Karthi also revealed that Suriya’s temperament could be unpredictable. "From a young age, if you looked at him for no reason, he would get angry. He would be provoked by the slightest thing and would sometimes even start an argument without any real cause," Karthi shared, smiling as he spoke.

While Suriya’s personal life and early years have often remained less discussed in the public eye, Karthi’s anecdotes provide a glimpse into the actor’s mischievous and passionate nature as a child.

Meanwhile, Karthi himself has been receiving praise for his performance in his latest film Meiyazhagan, where he stars alongside evergreen actor Arvind Swamy. The C. Prem Kumar directorial, which was released in theatres on September 27, has received both critical and commercial acclaim. (With inputs from Agencies)
