Joju George and daughter Sara`s heartwarming duet to `Muthamazhai` from Kamal Haasan`s `Thug Life` goes viral.

As Kamal Haasan’s much-anticipated film ‘Thug Life’ hits theatres today, actor Joju George has captured fans’ attention off-screen with a touching Instagram video featuring his daughter. The candid clip, shared via his Instagram, shows Joju and his daughter Sara singing along to ‘Muthamazhai,’ one of the standout songs from the film’s soundtrack.
The video quickly struck a chord online, with fans celebrating the heartwarming father-daughter moment. The emotional tone of their duet, paired with the song’s existing popularity, has helped it go viral across social media platforms.
‘Muthamazhai,’ composed by AR Rahman and originally sung in Tamil by Dhee, first gained widespread attention during ‘Thug Life’s grand audio launch. Singer Chinmayi Sripaada, who performed the Telugu and Hindi versions of the track, also made headlines for her moving live rendition at the same event. Her performance received a wave of appreciation, prompting her to post a thank-you note on Instagram, where she reflected on the strong emotional response from fans.
The film is directed by Mani Ratnam, marking a highly anticipated reunion between the legendary director and Haasan after 38 years. The film’s advance bookings reportedly crossed ₹10 crore ahead of its debut, with more than three lakh tickets sold across all major languages except Kannada. Industry tracker Sacnilk reported that the movie is scheduled for over 8,400 shows on its opening day.
The star-studded cast includes not only Kamal Haasan but also Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George himself, Ashok Selvan, Ravi Mohan, and Sanya Malhotra.
