More than a month before Ketan Agarwal’s death shocked the country, he was seen dancing, smiling and celebrating alongside the family of his fiancee, Siya Goyal. The resurfacing videos have now become a talking point online—not just because of the joyful scenes they capture, but because of the emotional message shared by singer Reetu Sharma, who says she cannot forget the young man's warmth and generosity.

Sharma, who performed at a family function attended by both the Agarwal and Goyal families in May, has publicly remembered Ketan as a caring and respectful person while sharply criticising Siya Goyal, the woman accused in his murder case.

The videos, shared by Reetu Sharma on Instagram, were recorded during a family gathering held weeks before Ketan's death. The footage shows members of both families enjoying the event, dancing together and appearing to share a cordial relationship.

In one clip, Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, is seen singing and celebrating alongside relatives, including Siya’s parents, Pravin Goyal and Pooja Goyal. Another video captures Ketan dancing with Pravin Goyal to a popular Bollywood track, reflecting what appeared to be a warm bond between the two families at the time.

The videos have drawn attention on social media as they offer a glimpse into the atmosphere surrounding the families before the tragedy unfolded.

Speaking about her experience at the event, Sharma said Ketan left a lasting impression on her through a simple act of courtesy.

According to the singer, after the performance ended, Ketan repeatedly insisted that she have lunch before leaving, despite the hectic nature of such events. She recalled being struck by his humility and the respectful way he interacted with people around him.

Sharma said memories of that interaction have stayed with her since learning about his death. She added that she first came to know about the incident through social media updates shared by members of the Agarwal family.

Having performed at several functions organised by the family in the past, Sharma said she had seen both families together and never sensed any visible hostility between them during the celebration.

The singer also pushed back against suggestions that there were signs of conflict between the two families during the gathering.

She said both sides actively participated in the celebrations and appeared happy throughout the event. The videos, she noted, show relatives dancing together and enjoying the occasion, with no indication of any apparent dispute.

Alongside the videos, Sharma posted an emotional message expressing support for Ketan and his family.

Describing him as an "innocent" and "beautiful soul," she questioned why, in her view, the situation reached such a tragic outcome. Sharma argued that if someone did not wish to continue a relationship, they could have chosen to say no rather than allegedly resorting to violence.

She also raised questions about the emotional toll the case has taken on Ketan’s parents, saying public attention should remain focused on the grief they are enduring.

The singer further called for strict punishment for Siya Goyal, whose alleged role in the case has made national headlines.

“Why saying NO is more difficult than taking someone’s life? We want justice for ketan! She should be pushed from that fort where she pushed ketan and killed him,” wrote Reetu.
