Mollywood superstar Mohanlal showered praises on actor Vinu Mohan and his wife Vidhya for helping the people who are abandoned on the streets without anyone to take care. Vinu and his wife along with their friends are engaged in helping the poor vagabonds to maintain personal hygiene by bathing and wearing clean clothes amid the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.

On Friday, Mohanlal took to his Facebook page and penned a note on the humanitarian act by his colleague.

“Amid the lockdown, there are many people around us who are forced to live on the streets. Vinu Mohan, his wife Vidhya, Murugan and the activists in Theruvoram group have come forward to help these poor people. So far they have helped over 600 people on the streets. I wish may my friends be blessed with all the fortune in their life,” wrote Mohanlal.

Vinu Mohan and Vidhya extended a helping hand to the poor people who are wandering on the streets and struggling to meet their basic needs. They have given a makeover to these people loitering in Kottayam town in torn clothes, shabby hair and unkept hygiene.

The vagabonds were taken to the mobile bathroom to make them aware of personal hygiene. At first, they were given a haircut and clean shave. Later, they had a bath inside the mobile bathroom. After bath, clean clothes were distributed to them.

Once they got ready by wearing clothes, they received food packets.

When the whole world is on the mission to counter the pandemic coronavirus, Vinu and his wife are creating awareness on personal hygiene among the abandoned people on the streets.
