Mohanlal paid homage to actor and Travelling Ticket Examiner, K Vinod, who tragically lost his life after falling from a moving train in Thrissur on Tuesday evening.
In a post shared on Facebook, Mohanlal wrote, 'Tribute to friend and actor TTE Vinod'. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn also paid homage to him.
Vinod made his acting debut through Mammootty's 'Gangster', directed by Aashiq Abu. He had acted in nearly 15 movies. He is known in the industry as Vinod Kannan.
He starred alongside Mohanlal in Mr Fraud, Peruchazhi, Ennum Eppozhum, Pulimurugan, and Oppam.
He met with a tragic fate after being pushed by the Odisha native, who was travelling without a ticket on a Patna-bound train that originated from Ernakulam. Police said the incident occurred in the Velappaya area under the Thrissur Medical College police station limits.
The accused, Rajanikanta, a native of Ganjam in Odisha, was later taken into custody and his arrest was recorded on Wednesday.
