Mohanlal completes dubbing for Patriot as fans await reunion with Mammootty after 17 years
Mohanlal has wrapped up dubbing for Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, adding momentum to one of the most anticipated Malayalam films in recent years. The film has generated significant attention as it brings together Mammootty and Mohanlal on screen after a gap of 17 years.
The production team released a video showing Mohanlal at the dubbing studio. In the clip, the actor is seen arriving in a Range Rover, dressed in a black shirt and trousers, reflecting his look from the film. Director Mahesh Narayanan is present in the studio, guiding the actor through the session. During the interaction, Mohanlal is heard asking, “All ok, right?” to which the director responds, “Okay, sir.”

Patriot is produced by Anto Joseph and K.G. Anil Kumar under the banners of Anto Joseph Film Company and Kichappu Films. C.R. Salim and Subhash George Manuel are co-producing the film under C.R. Salim Productions and Blue Tigers London. The executive producers are C.V. Sarathi and Rajesh Krishna.
The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on April 23. With both Mohanlal and Mammootty coming together for the project, expectations among fans and industry observers remain high.
