Mammootty took to social media to share his condolences, describing the grief as ‘beyond imagination.’ He wrote, "Jenson's death has brought immense sorrow. The pain Shruthi is experiencing is beyond imagination. May Shruthi and Jenson's loved ones find the strength to endure this immense loss."

Jenson, a resident of Andoor, Ambalavayal, sustained severe injuries in a tragic accident on the Kozhikode-Kollegal National Highway. His Omni van collided with a bus near Vellaramkunnu at 3:30 pm on Tuesday. The accident resulted in Jenson's death and injured eight of Shruthi's relatives, who were also travelling in the van. Jenson was receiving treatment at Meppadi WIMS Medical College but succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night.
Throughout Shruthi's ordeal, especially during her visit to the public crematorium in Puthumala to confront the burial site of her mother, Sabitha, Jenson remained a pillar of strength. Despite their different religious backgrounds, Jenson and Shruthi's relationship grew from a school friendship into a deep, lasting bond. Their wedding, initially planned for December, was rushed as Jensen sought to marry Shruthi soon, acknowledging her need for support following the landslide.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also expressed his condolences over Jenson’s death through a Facebook post.
