Director Major Ravi has unveiled his next patriotic film, ‘Pahalgam’, inspired by real-life military missions Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev.

Filmmaker Major Ravi, best known for his military-themed movies, is gearing up for his next ambitious project titled ‘Pahalgam’, inspired by the real-life missions Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. The film officially commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony at Mookambika Temple, marking the beginning of what promises to be another patriotic cinematic venture from the director.
The project is being produced jointly by Major Ravi and Anoop Mohan under the banner of Presidential Movies International Private Limited. Several well-known figures from the Malayalam film fraternity were present at the event. Among those who extended their wishes to the team were astrologer Jithesh Panicker and filmmaker Jayaram Kailas.
‘Pahalgam’ is being envisioned as a tribute to the courage, dedication, and emotional resilience of India’s soldiers. Designed as a pan-Indian project, the film will be released in multiple languages, expanding its reach beyond Malayalam audiences. With the pooja ceremony complete, pre-production activities and shoot preparations are now underway.
Producer Anoop Mohan expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “We are truly delighted to embark on this journey with Major Ravi. The story of ‘Pahalgam’ is immensely powerful, and we believe it will resonate deeply with audiences across languages.”
Major Ravi, who previously directed acclaimed patriotic dramas like ‘Keerthichakra’, returns once again to the genre that defined his career. With ‘Pahalgam’, he aims to blend emotional depth with gripping action sequences, offering audiences a realistic and stirring portrayal of valour and sacrifice.
The film’s cinematography is handled by S Thirunavukkarasu, while the music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
