
Mumbai: Actress Katrina Kaif brought warmth to the Karwa Chauth festivities by spending special moments with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, and family. Married to actor Vicky Kaushal, Katrina shared glimpses of their celebration on social media. On Sunday, she posted a series of photos highlighting her close bond with Veena.
The family gathering included her husband Vicky, sister Isabelle Kaif, brother-in-law Sunny, and father-in-law Sham Kaushal. In one touching image, Veena is seen giving her blessings to Katrina, while another captures their affectionate relationship. Katrina looked radiant in a beautiful pink saree, adorned with traditional sindoor and a mangalsutra, bringing joy to the day. Fans admired her lovely Karwa Chauth look.
One of the photos also showed Vicky with his father and brother, alongside Katrina's sister, Isabelle Kaif. Fans were excited to see the loving dynamics of the Kaushal family. “Happy Karwa Chauth,” Katrina captioned her post. This celebration marks the third Karwa Chauth for Vicky and Katrina since their intimate wedding in Rajasthan in December 2021.
On the work front, Katrina was last seen in 'Merry Christmas', directed by Sriram Raghavan, where she played Maria alongside South actor Vijay Sethupathi. The mystery thriller received positive reviews, particularly for Kaif's performance and its engaging storyline set on Christmas Eve. In 2023, she also appeared opposite Salman Khan in 'Tiger 3', which featured cameo roles from Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is preparing for his upcoming film 'Chhaava', a historical drama directed by Laxman Utekar. Vicky stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film's teaser has generated excitement among fans, showcasing Vicky’s fierce portrayal. 'Chhaava' is set to release on December 6, 2024.
