Jis Joy, who has provided the Malayalam voice for Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ recently opened up about the film and praised Fahadh Faasil’s exceptional performance in the sequel. In an interview with Silly Monks Mollywood, the director and dubbing artist highlighted Fahadh’s evolution as an actor and his pivotal role in the highly anticipated movie.

“In ‘Pushpa 2,’ Fahadh Faasil has a lot more screen space compared to ‘Pushpa 1.’ Not only does he have more screen time, but he also has a lot more to perform,” Jis Joy said. Reflecting on their earlier interactions, he added, “I became acquainted with Fahadh after the movie ‘Kai Ethum Doorathu.’ He has grown from being a shy person during his initial days in the industry to performing in front of more than a thousand people in a scene in ’Pushpa 2.’”

Jis Joy expressed his amazement at Fahadh’s transformation over the years, saying, “His growth is astonishing for people like me who knew him from his early days. I am not able to believe that the Fahadh of today is the same Fahadh I knew earlier. Such is his performance. It is dynamic and vibrant. Something has really happened to him, some kind of blessing; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to perform like this.”

He further emphasized the uniqueness of Fahadh’s acting style: “It’s not about performing loudly, but about bringing grace or an aesthetic beauty to the performance. This cannot be created. It truly is a blessing that he got.”

Fahadh Faasil, who made a lasting impression as the intense cop Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ (2021), is set to reprise his role in the sequel. His portrayal in the first film was met with critical acclaim, and fans are eagerly awaiting his return in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule.’

Directed by Sukumar, the film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Prakash Raj, and Jagapathi Babu, and is set to hit the silver screens on December 5. Mounted on a massive budget of Rs 500 crores, the film is expected to deliver high-octane action as Pushpa faces new challenges while solidifying his reign as the mafia boss of the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate.
