Jasmine Bhasin's birthday celebration in Dubai took a frightening turn after she was rushed to the hospital with a serious health condition. The actress has now revealed her diagnosis and shared a worrying update about her recovery.

Actor Jasmine Bhasin has shared a concerning health update after being hospitalised during what was supposed to be a birthday trip to Dubai with boyfriend Aly Goni. The actress revealed that she has been diagnosed with Terminal Ileitis, an inflammatory condition affecting the last part of the small intestine, and said she is still recovering.
Jasmine had travelled to Dubai to celebrate her 36th birthday on June 28, but the trip took an unexpected turn when she fell seriously ill shortly after landing.
Jasmine Bhasin shares health update
Taking to Instagram Stories, Jasmine apologised to fans for being inactive and thanked them for their support. "I am so sorry I have not been able to respond to all your lovely messages and posts. This birthday did not end up how we expected. Life is very unexpected. I am much better and should be back soon."
In another update, she explained what had happened after arriving in Dubai.
"So as soon as I landed in Dubai, on the same day, I fell severely sick and had to get hospitalised because I was diagnosed with Terminal Ileitis and a severe high-risk infection and inflammation. But hopefully, I will recover soon and be back."
However, Jasmine later revealed that her recovery is still ongoing and that doctors had not yet cleared her to travel.
"A lot of you are really concerned and need an update about my health. So, I didn't get medical clearance, and I wasn't 'fit to fly' as per my hospital because I am still not out of the danger zone."
She added that after her condition was stabilised, she was finally able to travel back to India for further treatment.
"But, home is home. Somehow, they have stabilised me with injections, and right now I am at the airport. I'll be going to another hospital and get admitted to continue my treatment in India."
Aly Goni's emotional birthday message
Aly Goni was the first to inform fans about Jasmine's hospitalisation. Sharing a heartfelt birthday post, he wrote, "Happy Happy Birthday, @jasminbhasin2806. We came here to celebrate your birthday, but life had other plans. Instead of making birthday memories, we're in a hospital room. Seeing you in pain has been the hardest part of this trip. I'd trade every celebration just to see you healthy and smiling again."
He later thanked fans for their prayers and shared another update.
"Thank you everyone for the love, prayers, and messages. We came to Dubai to celebrate Jasmine's birthday, but life had other plans. She suddenly fell very sick and had to be hospitalized due to a serious infection. It's been a very difficult and emotional few days."
He added, "I'm sorry if I haven't been able to reply to your messages or answer your calls. Right now, my entire focus is on being with her. She's receiving the best care and is slowly recovering. Please keep her in your prayers and duas. InshaAllah, she'll be back smiling very soon."
What is Terminal Ileitis?
Terminal Ileitis is an inflammation of the terminal ileum, the final section of the small intestine where it connects to the large intestine. While it is commonly associated with inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease, it can also develop due to infections, intestinal inflammation, certain medications like NSAIDs, lymphoid tissue overgrowth, or, in rare cases, lymphoma.
Symptoms vary from person to person but may include persistent lower abdominal pain, diarrhoea, cramping, bloody stools, weight loss, malabsorption and, in some cases, intestinal bleeding or bowel obstruction.
For now, Jasmine's focus remains on her recovery as she continues treatment in India, while fans and fellow celebrities have flooded social media with messages wishing her a speedy recovery.
