Guwahati: Rohit Basfore, known for his role in the upcoming third season of The Family Man, tragically died after an apparent accidental fall into the Garbhanga Waterfalls near Guwahati on Sunday, April 27.

As reported by Guwahati Plus and confirmed by local authorities, the actor was part of a picnic outing with nine colleagues when the incident occurred around 2 pm.

Officers from the Rani Police Outpost said they were informed around 4 pm and reached the location within 30 minutes. The SDRF rescue team recovered the actor’s body by 6:30 pm. Police currently suspect no foul play and have confirmed that the body has been sent for autopsy. The investigation remains ongoing.

Basfore, an emerging name in Indian web series, had been sharing updates from the sets of Family Man 3 on Instagram since last year. He appeared enthusiastic about the opportunity, referring to the experience as one where he “always loved to learn new things.”
