The excitement around Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 has reached peak levels, and fans can finally breathe easy. Director Aditya Dhar has officially confirmed that the much-awaited Dhurandhar 2 teaser will be released “in a few days,” ending weeks of speculation and online buzz.

Many fans had assumed that the teaser would drop alongside Sunny Deol’s Border 2, but that’s not happening. Dhar himself stepped in on Friday to clear the air with a direct update on social media.

Aditya Dhar took to Instagram Stories after resharing a meme posted by a fan that read, “Aditya Dhar mazak nahi, teaser jaldi.” (Don’t joke, release the teaser soon.)

Replying to it, Dhar wrote, “Teaser will be out in a few days!” — sending fans into celebration mode. While the filmmaker did not reveal an official date, industry chatter suggests the teaser could drop around January 26.

The Dhurandhar sequel was officially confirmed during the end credits of the first film, with the makers announcing a March 19 theatrical release. The film is set to clash with Yash’s Toxic, making it one of 2026’s biggest box office battles.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar continues to dominate conversations after becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, earning over ₹1300 crore worldwide. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the action-packed spy thriller stars Ranveer Singh as an Indian intelligence officer infiltrating terror networks in Pakistan’s Lyari region.

The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan in key roles.
