Mohanlal starrer Devadoothan, directed by Sibi Malayil, is set for a re-release after 23 years.

Sibi Malayil shared the update about the re-release through social media. The director informed that he is currently working on the remastered 4K Atmos version of Devadoothan.

However, the date of re-release has not yet been declared. Below the director's post, many people expressed their joy and excitement. Some shared that they’re waiting to watch this movie again in theatres.

The screenplay for Devadoothan, released in 2000, was written by Raghunath Paleri. Jaya Prada, Vineeth Kumar, Murali, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jagadish, and others appeared in the lead roles in the film. Vidyasagar composed music.
