The inquiry report by the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) into the allegations raised by Vincy Aloshious against Shine Tom Chacko is expected to be delayed.

According to sources, the inquiry committee has already recorded statements from both Shine Tom Chacko and Vincy. Additionally, the panel has spoken with members of the crew involved in the film where the alleged incident is said to have taken place.

However, the AMMA committee has reportedly decided to await the findings of the film's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) before submitting its final report. The internal report is expected to play a crucial role in shaping AMMA’s conclusions.

The inquiry panel from AMMA includes actors Vinu Mohan, Ansiba Hassan and Sarayu Mohan.

Following Vincy’s revelation, Shine Tom Chacko was also booked in a separate case by both the excise department and the police. He allegedly fled the scene when excise officers arrived at a hotel for inspection. Shine has since been granted bail and has reportedly been sent to a de-addiction centre.

As per existing regulations, the ICC of a film production is required to submit a report within 90 days of receiving a complaint. Should the ICC take the full allotted time, AMMA's own report is also likely to be delayed accordingly.
