A range of genres debuted at the box office this week with the releases of 'Singham Again', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', 'Amaran', and 'Lucky Baskhar'. These films are attracting attention for their engaging storylines and performances, and early box office figures indicate a thrilling competition for audience interest.

According to Sacnilk, 'Lucky Baskhar', directed by Venky Atluri and released on October 31, has lived up to its hype as a period crime drama. The film's net collection in India reached Rs 29.4 crore over the weekend, while its worldwide collection stood at Rs 46.5 crore four days after its release. 

The plot follows Bhaskar, a middle-class bank cashier facing financial difficulties and harboring big aspirations. His desire for more drives him to explore a high-risk investment scheme, ultimately leading him into a world of gambling.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Singham Again' was released on November 1 and opened with Rs 43.5 crore on its first day. By the end of the weekend, the film's worldwide collection crossed Rs 176.1 crore, with Rs 42.5 crore collected on the second day and Rs 35.75 crore on the third day in India.

In this third chapter of the 'Singham' series, courageous officer Bajirao Singham and his dedicated team undertake a cross-border mission to save his wife, Avni Singham, who has been kidnapped by a powerful foe, showcasing a battle between good and evil.

'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', directed by Anees Bazmee and released on November 1, earned Rs 157.2 crore worldwide, with Rs 106 crore from India. Its day one and day two collections were Rs 35.5 crore and Rs 37 crore, respectively, while day three collections stood at Rs 33.5 crore. 

Produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, this film is the third in the popular franchise. Set in Kolkata, West Bengal, the movie features a star-studded cast including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. The plot follows Ruhaan, a con artist masquerading as an exorcist, who takes on a lucrative assignment at a haunted castle. As he delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a sinister scheme involving mischievous priests, leading to a comical yet thrilling adventure filled with unexpected twists and frights.

Released on October 31 and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, 'Amaran' earned Rs 137.5 crore worldwide, with Rs 84.2 crore from India. The film's collections were Rs 21.4 crore on day one, Rs 19.12 crore on day two, Rs 21.4 crore on day three, and Rs 22.25 crore on day four.

'Amaran' tells the real-life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously honored with the Ashok Chakra for his bravery during a counterterrorism operation while serving with the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.
