Sivakarthikeyan and the entire team of Amaran are on cloud nine after the mammoth success of the film, which grossed over Rs. 300 crores worldwide. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.

Amaran, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his valour, features the versatile actor Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Mukund's wife. The film opened to stellar reviews and was loved by audiences and critics alike. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran is being celebrated as a heartfelt tale of love, affection, and patriotism and has become a benchmark film in Sivakarthikeyan's thrilling career.

Despite being an "outsider" in the film industry, without a godfather to guide him, Sivakarthikeyan has climbed the ladder of success through sheer determination, overcoming struggles to become one of the most sought-after actors today.

Sivakarthikeyan initially won the hearts of the audience as a television anchor before transitioning to cinema. His rise to fame is similar to that of Shah Rukh Khan, with both stars coming from humble beginnings and defying the odds. Like SRK, Sivakarthikeyan’s popularity continues to soar with each passing day.

In a recent interview with Anupama Chopra for The Hollywood Reporter India, Sivakarthikeyan spoke about the exciting opportunities coming his way. "As you pointed out, there were discussions about doing a Hindi film, but it didn’t materialize," he revealed.

However, the budding superstar shared an exciting update, hinting at a possible collaboration with the maestro Aamir Khan.

"I have met Aamir sir a few times. He has told me that my first Hindi film will be under his banner. He has been persistent about producing the project, and if things fall into place and we land on the right script, there’s a good chance the film will be made," Sivakarthikeyan said.

As per reports, Sivakarthikeyan has several interesting projects lined up, including one with National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, where Jayam Ravi is set to play the antagonist. The dashing hero is certainly in the thick of things as he ushers in the new year, leaving cinephiles eager and excited!
