Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is set to unveil the Tamil trailer of the upcoming film Kattalan, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in May.

The trailer will be released at 5 pm through Anirudh’s official social media platforms, marking a major promotional update for the film following the strong response to its Malayalam trailer.

Backed by Cubes Entertainments, Kattalan is directed by debutant Paul George and produced by Shareef Muhammed. The film features Antony Varghese Pepe, Dushara Vijayan, Sunil and Kabir Duhan Singh in lead roles, bringing together a mix of Malayalam and pan-Indian actors.

The film is set against the backdrop of ivory smuggling and focuses on themes of survival, vengeance and intense conflict. The Malayalam trailer has already drawn significant attention for its raw visuals, high-octane action sequences and portrayal of a brutal forest-based world.

The music of the film features compositions by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in large-scale pan-Indian projects, along with contributions from B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The soundtrack and background score have been highlighted as key elements in shaping the film’s tone.

Kattalan was shot over an extensive 140-day schedule across multiple locations, including Thailand, and involves a high level of technical execution, particularly in its action design and production scale. The film has also secured strong distribution support across domestic and international markets.

With its Tamil trailer set to release, Kattalan continues to build anticipation ahead of its May theatrical launch.
