A wedding fit for pop royalty? That is exactly what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's reported celebrations are beginning to look like. From the famous faces expected to attend to the lavish venue, possible performances and eye-watering budget, fans are eagerly following every new detail ahead of what could become one of the biggest celebrity weddings in recent years.

Here is everything that we know so far.

When and where is the wedding?

If reports are accurate, Taylor Swift and her fiancé Travis Kelce are set to marry on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York.

According to reports, the celebrations will be spread across two days. A smaller gathering of around 100 close friends and family members is expected to take place on Thursday evening, followed by the main wedding celebration on Friday with approximately 1,000 guests.

The Friday event is reportedly scheduled to run from 6 pm until 10:30 pm inside the Infosys Theatre.

While Madison Square Garden is not a traditional wedding venue, it is said to hold special meaning for the couple. Located in New York City, where Taylor lives, the arena represents the worlds of music and professional sport that have defined both of their careers.

Reports also claim the venue is being transformed into a fairy-tale setting. A grand castle is reportedly being built inside a garden-themed space, while artificial trees and decorative "Garden Party" boxes have allegedly been delivered in preparation for the celebrations.

Rumoured schedule for the big day

According to reports, guests are expected to begin arriving from 3:30 pm, when the doors open. A cocktail hour is then reportedly scheduled to take place on the Sixth Floor Concourse from 4 pm.

The wedding ceremony is expected to begin at 5:30 pm on the arena floor. After the vows, the celebrations are said to continue with the reception from 6:30 pm until 2 am, allowing guests to enjoy an evening of food, music and entertainment.

Another rumour doing the rounds suggests that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have already married in a private ceremony.

A guest list packed with famous faces

According to multiple reports, family will be at the heart of the celebrations.

Taylor's parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, along with her brother Austin Swift, are all expected to attend.

On Travis' side, his parents Donna and Ed Kelce are reportedly on the guest list, together with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.

Taylor's closest friends are also expected to be present. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Cara Delevingne, Sabrina Carpenter and her longtime friend Abigail Anderson have all been linked to the celebrations.

Her musical collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner are also reportedly among the invited guests.

The guest list is said to extend well beyond Taylor's inner circle. Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Stevie Nicks and members of HAIM have all been mentioned in reports, making the wedding a meeting point for some of the biggest names in music.

Travis' sporting world is also expected to be well represented. Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, George Kittle and his wife have all reportedly been invited.

Several Kansas City Chiefs players are also expected to attend, although the complete guest list has not been revealed.

The names that may be missing

Almost as much attention has been given to the reported absentees as those expected to attend.

Blake Lively has emerged as one of the biggest talking points after reports suggested she may not have received an invitation. The rumours quickly fuelled speculation because of her long friendship with Taylor.

Karlie Kloss is another name attracting interest. Fans have discussed the pair's relationship for years, and whether she appears at the wedding could become a story of its own.

Reports have also mentioned Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry as possible guest list exclusions.

Reported wedding rules for guests

The couple are also said to have introduced a few firm rules for everyone attending.

San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle recently revealed that guests had been told not to bring wedding gifts.

Speaking to ExtraTV, he said, "They said absolutely no gifts. But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin."

Reports have also suggested the couple are following a "no ring, no bring" policy. Under that rule, guests can only bring a plus-one if they are engaged or married.

Taylor's wedding dress is still under wraps

One of the biggest talking points among Swifties is what Taylor will wear on her wedding day.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the singer is expected to walk down the aisle in a custom Christian Dior couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson.

Who could perform?

Music is expected to play a major role during the celebrations.

Fans recently spotted a grand piano outside the reported venue, leading to speculation that several famous artists could perform during the reception.

Country music legend Tim McGraw has been linked to the event, a fitting choice given that Taylor's breakthrough hit was named after him.

Stevie Nicks has also been rumoured to perform, while Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney have likewise been mentioned in reports. However, no official performance line-up has been announced.

A celebration worth millions

The reported scale of the wedding has also drawn attention to its enormous budget.

According to reports, Madison Square Garden has reportedly been booked for three days at a cost of nearly $3 million.

Reports also claim that Winick Productions applied for permits covering July 2 to July 4, including requests for nearby traffic closures and permission to install a large outdoor tent or canopy.

Celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed, known for organising lavish luxury events, is said to have been planning the wedding for several months.

Rock Lititz, the Pennsylvania-based production company that previously helped build sets for Taylor's Eras Tour, has also reportedly been involved in the preparations.

Luxury event planners estimate that a wedding of this size could cost anywhere between $10 million and $20 million.

Lighting designer Ira Levy, whose previous clients include Ivanka Trump and the Ambani family, told CNN that lighting alone inside Madison Square Garden could cost between $650,000 and almost $1 million.

The floral arrangements are also expected to be lavish, with planners estimating that flowers alone could cost more than $1 million.

Tight security expected around the venue

Privacy appears to be one of the couple's biggest priorities.

According to reports, work has been taking place inside Madison Square Garden for several days ahead of the celebrations.

Red carpet panels briefly appeared on the venue's steps before reportedly being removed because they were the wrong shade of purple.

Vendor vehicles have allegedly been entering directly through loading areas to keep preparations hidden from public view, while semi-trucks have been positioned outside to block sightlines into the loading dock.

Reports also claim that tall barricades covered in black netting now surround the arena.

Everyone working on the event has reportedly undergone strict security checks, is not allowed to carry mobile phones and must wear specially issued wristbands.

Reports further indicate that around 130 New York police officers, including detectives and newly recruited officers, will be deployed as part of the event's special permit.

Taylor and Travis first sparked headlines in 2023 after the Kansas City Chiefs star publicly revealed that he had hoped to give the singer a friendship bracelet during her Eras Tour.

Their relationship quickly became one of the most talked-about romances in the world. After dating for more than two years, the couple announced their engagement in August 2025.

Swifties have followed Taylor and Travis' relationship from the very beginning, so it is no surprise that interest in their reported wedding is at an all-time high.

Until the couple share details themselves, every new report is likely to keep the excitement going.
