The National Career Service (NCS) is a five-year mission mode project launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 20th July 2015. It is implemented by the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment, to serve as a one-stop platform for employment and career-related services across India.

NCS aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers, as well as candidates looking for training and career guidance with relevant agencies.

The NCS portal provides digital solutions for job seekers, employers, skill providers, career counsellors, local service providers (LSPs), placement organisations, government departments, and even households seeking services like drivers, plumbers, etc. It enables easy registration, job search, and career support for all stakeholders, making employment opportunities more accessible nationwide.
