The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited applications for the Agniveervayu intake 01/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. This initiative provides Indian youth an opportunity to serve in the IAF for four years, embracing the military way of life.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Candidates born between 1 January 2005 and 1 July 2008 (inclusive).
  • Marital Status: Only unmarried males and females are eligible. Marriage during the engagement period will lead to discharge.
  • Education:
    • Science Stream: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with 50% marks or equivalent qualifications like a diploma.
    • Non-Science Stream: Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks.

Key Dates and Process:

  • Registration: Open until 2300 hrs on 27 January 2025 at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
  • Online Exam: Scheduled for 22 March 2025.

Additional Notes:
The scheme aims to empower youth and enhance their skills. Female candidates must adhere to specific conditions regarding pregnancy during the engagement period.
