Some are wildly impractical, some are sensible enough for every day, and all of them made us zoom in.

It’s late. Your phone is warm in your hand, and you’re two fingers deep into a runway photo, enlarging a toe cap until a tiny ladybug stares back. If that sounds familiar, spring/summer 2027 was made for you.
Designers saved their wildest ideas for accessories this season, and these twelve each earned a pinch-to-zoom. Start the savings note now.
Hermès Le Petit Sac
Begin with the calm one. Hermès brought back its slim shoulder bag with the H-shaped D-rings, first seen for autumn/winter 2025, now in a rich reddish-brown. It holds a phone, a lipstick and your cards, and asks nothing more of you.
Thom Browne bug sandals
Then, mischief. Thom Browne sent out sandals and mules with caterpillar, ladybug and beetle faces on the toes, in holographic, metallic, patent and fuzzy finishes. Pair them with a neutral outfit and the whole look gets a wink.

Dior cygnet minaudière
Jonathan Anderson, the man behind JW Anderson’s pigeon and hedgehog clutches, now has Dior carrying a baby swan. It fits a lipstick and a pack of mints, maybe. Do we want it anyway? Absolutely.
Valentino flower mules
Alessandro Michele’s mules are made for wedding invites and garden lunches, barely-there straps, tiny blooms, unexpected colours. Our favourite is a turquoise heel with a lime-green flower and a red insole.
Givenchy zip-thong sandals
Sarah Burton’s sandal stands on two curved heels that look like they’re springing off the floor. Zippers also turned up on mules and boots, but this gravity-defying pair won.
Miu Miu x New Balance RC150
Slim, low-profile sneakers are everywhere, so expect these on every It-girl. They take cues from an early-’90s New Balance racer that weighed just 150 grams, with mesh uppers, zigzag stitching and a second pair of laces looped through the toes. The capsule may reach select Miu Miu online stores from February 2027.
Gucci belted party bag
Demna’s slim shoulder bag carries three Horsebits and borrows its look from the 3X cummerbund belt on the runway. An easy yes for anyone with an edgy streak.
Burberry face-embellished pumps
Daniel Lee teamed up with textile artist Celia Birtwell, and her joyful prints traveled from clothes to embroidered mules, pumps, slingbacks and even an umbrella. The standout was a mesh pump scattered with paillettes that form tiny faces.

Bottega Veneta mesh flats
Bottega’s bags were superb as usual, but the net flats with tie details are our bet. If Alaïa’s fishnet flats had you in a chokehold, expect the same on city streets and beach holidays.
Chanel novelty slingbacks
Matthieu Blazy’s debut shoes sold out first, and quirky footwear is becoming Chanel’s signature. Slingbacks and pumps came decorated with buttons, patent playing-card suits, red and gold beads and clashing animal prints. Ours is the green slingback with a furry animal-print toe cap.
Louis Vuitton’s 9-to-5 bag
For every novelty on the wishlist, you need a bag that carries your actual life. Louis Vuitton’s roomy flap bag is enough for meetings and cool enough for after-work drinks. Practical, and still chic.
Saint Laurent gilded stilettos
And the pair that ended every conversation. Anthony Vaccarello and shoe design director Corrado De Biase created stilettos with delicate chains, chunky gemstones and, on some, serpent-shaped heels. Likely the It-shoe of next summer.
So go ahead and zoom in. Just set the budget before you hit add to cart.
