Perambra: A hilly hamlet of Kozhikode district, Peruvannamuzhi, is all set to kickstart the tourism fest scheduled in the vicinity of Peruvannamuzhi dam, which is a much-adored tourist attraction of the region. The fest will be held from April 23 to May 7 with the cooperation of Chakkittapara panchayat and various departments of the state government.
The office-bearers of the organising committee informed that Minister Roshy Augustine will inaugurate the fest followed by a dance performance of actor Navya Nair on the initial day.
Various musical concerts, plays, Kalari and dance performances will be staged in the following days. The fest will also comprise a carnival, expo, water fest, boating, flower show, tug of war contest, eco tourism pavilion, food court, book fest, painting contest and many more.
The fest has been organised to attract more tourists to the region, after the tourism development of Peruvannamuzhi dam and the launch of boating facilities here.
