Kochi: Air India, an airline company under the Tata group, provides safety instructions during flights using various dance forms of the country. A new safety video called ‘Safety Mudras’ has been released by combining dance forms in this way.
It is a unique way of promoting cultural heritage while offering safety precautions for passengers with videos of artforms including Kathakali and Mohiniyattam. The video also features Bihu, Kathak, Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Ghoomar and Gidda. This video, shot on the streets of Kerala, warns against the use of electronic gadgets and smoking inside aircraft.
The safety video will initially be displayed on Air India’s new A350 aircraft with state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment screens. These will gradually be included on other Air India aircrafts as well.
