The 28-day-long Kottiyoor Vaishaka Mahotsavam is conducted annually inside the Kottiyoor reserve forest in the months of May and June. The festival carried out under the two temples 'Akkare Kottiyoor' and 'Ikkare Kottiyoor' is one of the much-awaited festivals of Kerala.
