Athirappilly: Visitors reaching Athirappilly are disappointed as the sight of the waterfalls gets hindered from the viewpoint due to the branches of trees. Hence, the workers of the forest conservation committee cut down the branches of six trees to again offer a visual treat to the tourists. 

The viewpoint is the only location for the physically challenged and aged visitors to relish the beauty of the waterfall as it is difficult for them to reach near it. 

The branches of trees in the private resort premises beneath the viewpoint had restrained the view of the waterfall.
