Chicken medicine is one of the preparations taken during the month of Karkidakam to boost body strength and immunity. It can also be consumed to relieve joint pain. It can be prepared using any type of meat. Salt, turmeric, chilli, etc., should not be added to it. Once prepared, a small portion can be eaten every night. Do not consume too much at once. Chicken medicine masala is available at Ayurvedic medicine shops.
Ingredients
- Country - bred chicken (six-month old) - one kilo
- Coconut milk - half coconut
- Coconut oil - 100 grams
- Refined oil - 100 grams
- Chicken medicine - 50 grams
Cooking method
Cut the chicken into small pieces and cook it in coconut milk without adding salt. Then add refined oil and coconut oil in a pan and heat it. Add chicken medicine masala to it. Then add the cooked chicken and mix well. Drain any water. Fry until the oil oozes out. Roast the meat well.
