Kozhikode: Aster MIMS Hospital received the Iconic leader of the year award instituted by IBARC Asian Initiative in the Multispecialty Hospital section for its meritorious intervention in the healthcare service.

IBARC is a research organization functioning as part of Make in India. The awards are given to institutions considering their quality and social commitments to society. Aster MIMS was selected for the award considering the free surgeries for children below 14 years, discounts given for cancer and radiation treatments, and the service of the hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aster Kerala and Oman regional director Farhan Yasin said that this award is very precious and this recognition will help in implementing more projects with social commitments.
